I'm entering my 7th season as the head boys lacrosse coach at West Essex High School. Prior to being elevated to head coach, I served as the Assistant Coach/Defensive Coordinator at West Essex for 8 seasons. Collegiately, I was a 4-year letter winner at Montclair State University as a long-stick midfielder and was part of 3 straight ECAC Metro Championship teams. Along with my coaching duties at West Essex, I am also a Social Studies teacher at West Essex Middle School. QUOTE: "Well done is better than well said." - Benjamin Franklin FUN FACT: I come from a family of educators, coaches and athletes. Both of my siblings are teachers and coach high school sports. My sister played professional soccer and my cousin is currently a professional baseball player.

I grew up on Long Island with four brothers playing all sports all the time. I went to Paul D. Schreiber High School where I played soccer, wrestling (my main sport) and lacrosse graduating with the scholar athlete award and was subsequently elected to the school's athletic hall of fame. I played lacrosse at Ithaca College and didn't realize how much I missed the sport until my son became involved in the Chatham Youth Lacrosse program. I coached him and many other excellent lacrosse athletes through 8th grade then stayed on to coach the next group for another four years. I came to BBL after my daughter went through the program, had a great experience and was recruited to play in college. I have been with BBL for 10 years as an assistant and head coach for several of BBL's talented boys teams: 2018, 2021, 2024, 2027 and currently with the 2029 Helix. Fun Fact: once owned a Corvette - fast and fun to drive. Favorite saying: Attitude is a choice!

I am proud to say I am a founding coach here at Building Blocks lacrosse. I have been with the academy for over 16 years and coaching for over 20 years. I started the first boys travel team in 2007 for BBL with a very talented group of 7th graders. We then grew each year adding more teams and adding more talented coaches. We are now a national power house! I am very proud of my tenure here at BBL where I have developed and trained some of the best boys and girls players in the world. Truly gratifying.

Played for Ramapo high school, as a four year varsity starter. Had a won a state championship in 2017 and a conference championship in 2018. My favorite quote is from the great Mohammed Ali “To be a great champion you must believe you’re the best. If your not pretend you are.” I’ve been working with BBL for about 2 years and my favorite thing about it is teaching the kids and seeing them teach their goals and grow.

I have been Coaching at BBL since 2015. I went to Arizona State University and played Division 1 MCLA club lacrosse from ‘11-‘’13 where we won 2 SLC Division Championship and made 2 Final 4 appearances. Lacrosse for me is more about the relationship between players and coaches rather than Wins and Loses. In time the glory days will fade but relationship will stay with you forever.

Three-time All-American and All-ACC selection and 6x All-ACC academic team and ACC Honor roll ... Stared at LSM before moving to close defense in 2020 and moved back to LSM in 2021 ... Redshirted as a true freshman due to injury and has since been a dominant defensive force for the Orange ... In 2019, was an All-American and All-ACC selection as one of the top LSMs in the nation, but has also seen time on close defense, earning All-ACC honors his redshirt freshman season. Took over top cover defenseman duties in 2020 and played the entirety of the 2022 season on close defense ... Finished his career fifth on Syracuse's caused turnover list (60) ... Was drafted sixth overall in the first round of the 2022 PLL Draft by the Chaos LC. After dealing with multiple season ending knee injuries my favorite quote is: “The sun will rise tomorrow. It always does, and all the wishing in the world for the way things were, or for what they could have been, won’t change that. It won’t change how things are.”
